229 The Tabernacle

Exodus 35:1-38:20; 39:32-40:38, TBC Book One, Chapter 43
Sorrow turned to joy when the Israelites learned that their God had changed his mind: Not only would he travel with them, but he would make his home among them. Moses told the people that the Lord would need a special dwelling. All who desired it, both men and women, would have a part in building this great tent, this tabernacle. 

Moses explained to them that various materials would be needed—cloth, animal skins, and precious stones. But more than that, they would need people who were willing to work together in using their creative skills. . . .
