200 A Severe Judgment

Genesis 18:16-19:38, TBC Book One, Chapter 14
Abraham grew quiet when he realized his three guests were no ordinary strangers. As they rose to leave, the leader turned to his two companions and said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? No, I will not, for I have chosen him to keep the way of the Lord. You go on ahead of me.” The Lord turned to Abraham and said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I am about to see it for myself.”

Abraham knew what that meant. Those cities were known for their wickedness. . . . Abraham glanced at the two who had left for Sodom. He knew this was his only chance. “Lord, I have a question for you. . . .”
