Acts 16:16-40, TBC Book Two, Chapter 140 When Paul and his companions were heading to the place of prayer in Philippi, a young slave girl had begun following them. Now this young girl was possessed by a spirit of divination, and she earned much money for her owners by fortune telling. One day she began shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God. They have come to tell you how to be saved.” She yelled that repeatedly, day after day, until Paul grew troubled by what he discerned. The jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. So he placed them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in stocks. By midnight Paul and Silas started to regain their strength, and they began to pray and sing hymns of praise to God. A peace settled over the prison as the other inmates listened. Then suddenly, the whole building began to shake. . . . (See THE BIBLE CLICKS, Book Two, Chapter 140, for the rest of the story.)
